Okay so here’s the 411, Pepsi’s GIVING AWAY MILLIONS every month to fund “great ideas” that could benefit your community. The ideas are submitted online and the public votes on who should get the money. Cool, right?!
There are a number of wonderful “ideas” out there but this one is near and dear to me, Improving WildCare’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Education and Nursery Area.
For 25 years, WildCare has provided people a place to bring injured and orphaned wildlife with the goal of releasing healthy individuals back into the wild. Every year, WildCare accepts 4,200 animals. Volunteers and staff work round-the-clock to provide these animals with the best possible care. However, space is crowded and a new building (paid for by Pepsi’s Refresh Program) would give WildCare room to advance their education programs and expand the Nurseries and Clinic.

WildCare is the wonderful foundation where I began my love and appreciation for wildlife. I was 16 when I began volunteering at WildCare and can remember being in awe that such a place existed. It was during this time I witnessed the impact we have on our environment and the sentient creatures we share it with. My experience there was both sobering and extremely gratifying.
I ask you, please take a moment to vote for this wonderful foundation by clicking on the title of this post. You can vote more than once, so please do. They deserve it. Thanks!
